Was worried about the bedbug reviews but it's actually one of the cleanest hostels I've been to.
They describe themselves as family, and that's the overall feeling of the place. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The ambiance is great! The only common areas are the reception, that closes at midnight, and the kitchen (open 24/7), where you'll find a microwave and a fridge, but no stove...
Lockers are extremely small and the "lock" itself is almost laughable, but theres a feeling of safety unusual for hostels in general. The "family" takes good care of the space!
It's located in a very lively neighborhood, with bars and restaurants all around. Nightlife is buzzing at your doorstep! Not recommended for light sleepers or early risers.
An overall great experience! My best days in Portugal were here...
BED BUGS!!
Got bitten by bed bugs at this place.
The hostel is expensive considering it is very basic. Not uncomfortable but old building, bathroom etc. Lot of noise from the bars around but ok with earplugs and to go out in Porto it’s well-located. Staff are pleasant and helpful.
This place is incredible. It is simple, cozy, the price is perfect. The staff, especially Alex and Felipa, were absolutely marvelous, gorgeous people. You get your little comfy bed, a shared bathroom, a kitchen (no stove though), and a reception/lobby area where you can eat, watch TV, order an alcohol or other beverage/snacks, walking distance from many great places. I'd probably live here and I'm sad to leave. Thank you!
I stayed at the hostel for 3 nights. This is my favorite room there. I met Daniel and Alex, the friendly and helpful staff there. The location is good and the bed is comfortable. I enjoyed a lot in Porto and also the hostel. They allowed me to drop my backpack the last day when I went on a tour. I’d say that 4 days staying in Porto is even not enough. Thanks Hostel Invictus.

The best hostel experience in Europe, truly amazing staff Daniel who described the porto trip for me and what i need to see and do , thank you Daniel ❤️ also thank you Philiba , Alex and Vania ❤️ the hostel design is vintage, its super clean at any time, smells super good , perfect location from the historic porto and good vibes in the living room.
Also calm so you can sleep perfectly.
Recommended for everyone who wants to stay in Porto , I will be staying in this place again when i come back to Porto, see you later ❤️
